Are you enjoying the winter in Puch and want to go skiing or snowboarding? Then today I have the perfect overview for you on how to get on the slopes as quickly as possible. Due to the central location of Puch, you can reach the top ski areas and many small but very fine ski arenas in Salzburg and Berchtesgaden in less than 15 minutes by car. With the full motorway connection in Puch-Urstein, fun on the slopes is guaranteed even faster. Hundreds of kilometers of pistes of various levels of difficulty await you from Puch within 40 minutes by car. So there is something for every type of skier - from beginners to ski ace!

You don"t have any ski equipment or have never stood on skis? No problem, most ski areas have ski and snowboard rentals on site and also offer ski courses.

1. Untersbergbahn ski descent - the demanding one!

Let"s start with something special! The Untersberg greets us every day and, as many people don"t even know, there is also a ski run down to Fürstenbrunn on the Untersberg - but that"s not for beginners! Here are a few facts about skiing and snowboarding on the Untersberg:

  • From the mountain station of the Untersbergbahn, the demanding ski run can be reached on foot in 20 minutes via the Hochalm.
  • 1,400 m difference in altitude await you along the 7.5 km long piste.
  • The view of the Dachstein, Göll to the Hochkönig and the Steineren Meer as well as the city of Salzburg is unique.
  • Bus line 35 runs from Füstenbrunn to the valley station of the Untersbergbahn

2. Zinkenlifte Hallein / Bad Dürrnberg - skiing in the family ski area

You can see how close it is to Puch and the city of Salzburg when you look at the view from the summit. This is what winter sports enthusiasts can expect at the Zinken lifts in Hallein / Bad Dürrnberg:

Less than 4 kilometers from the Zinken lifts, the snow-surest family ski area with natural snow awaits you at the Rossfeld in the neighboring Berchtesgadener Land (DE). The impressive panorama extends over the Berchtesgaden Alps and the Dachstein to the Mozart city of Salzburg. Enjoy the family-friendly offer at Rossfeld:

The ski lift in Krispl is the best address for the first turns in the snow. The cable lift transports the young ski talents and next to that the bigger ski fans can accelerate on the piste at the tow lift. At the Gasthof Alpenblick in Krispl you can expect:

In Abtenau, beginners and advanced ski fans get their money"s worth. On the Karkogel, a combination of an 8-seater gondola and a 6-seater chair lift takes you up to 1260 m. There are also the Sonnleiten lifts in the center of Abtenau, which are ideal for beginners and families. Come to Abtenau and enjoy a family ski day with the following offer:
