Arrival by car & bus

Coming from the direction of Vienna on the A1 or from Munich on the A9, shortly before Tennengau (in Hallein) you will come to the “Knoten Salzburg” interchange, then continue south on the A 10 (Tauern Autobahn). Puch/Urstein (Exit 11) is the northernmost autobahn exit in Tennengau.

If you come from the south on the A10 from Villach/Carinthia, also leave the Tauernautobahn in Puch-Urstein at Exit 11. From the Puch-Urstein exit, head south to the village of Puch or north (following signs for Salzburg) to St. Jakob am Thurn.

Arrival by bus & train

Travel to your Salzburg holiday in comfort using public transportation. Puch has two stations on the suburban railway (“S-Bahn”) and several bus stops.

TIP: With the TennengauPLUS Card, all guests in Tennengau ride buses & trains to Salzburg City for free.

Arrival by air

Salzburg Airport W.A. Mozart is Austria’s second-biggest airport and just a few kilometers north of Puch. You can also reach Puch in about 2 hours from Flughafen München.
