Tourism association Puch near Salzburg

Tourismusverband Puch bei Salzburg endeavors to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327 of 2.12.2016, p. 1). This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.puch-salzburg.com.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is not compliant with the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1' or the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The following contents are not barrier-free as they are not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • There are images without captions on individual pages. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers. | WCAG: 1.1.1
  • There are links without link text on several pages. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • There is no title on individual pages. | WCAG: 2.4.2
  • There are form fields without labels on several pages. Navigation with screen readers to the form fields is difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • There are invalid aria attribute values on individual pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not displayed correctly. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On some pages there are focusable elements that are marked as decorative and are therefore accessible for assistive technologies, but should actually be ignored. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On several pages, a superordinate element lacks the appropriate subordinate elements. This can confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but none is present. | WCAG: 1.3.1
  • On several pages, there are elements that are assigned to a role but do not contain the required attributes. These elements may not be displayed correctly by screen readers according to their role. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • There are elements on individual pages whose Aria ID appears several times. This makes it difficult to navigate the website with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2

The majority of these errors affect pages on which the TOSC5 website widget from Feratel Media Technologies AG is integrated. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about this at the moment as it is a third-party software.
