1. Wiestalstausee

The reservoir near us in Hinterwiestal offers a quiet and relaxing environment, ideal for a leisurely swim or a picnic on the shore. With its impressive scenery and the opportunity for fishing and fly-fishing, the Wiestalstausee is a popular destination for nature lovers, swimmers and anglers alike. The wild mountain stream between the Tennengau communities of Bad Vigaun and Kuchl offers you beautiful washed-out gorges and smooth rocks. The ice-cold and crystal-clear water is very popular on hot summer days. 4. Bürgerausee

Along the gravelled hiking trail, which is suitable for prams, around the "Kuchler See", there are many shady spots, several benches and a large sunbathing area. With the kiosk, a children's playground, the skater park, a Kneipp facility and a beach volleyball court, variety and fun are provided. The Bürgerausee is a popular meeting place for families, young people and recreation seekers who want to relax and refresh themselves in the midst of nature. Tip: there is an S-Bahn station and several parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

10 minutes from the Wiestal reservoir, the Felsenbad is a special natural monument in nearby Faistenau. The stone sunbathing areas on the riverbed at the Strüblweiher reservoir are warmed by the sun in summer and the various large pools invite you to take a dip, swim or jump in the water.
